See You Soon - Annual Meeting

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2020 AALS Annual Meeting! As you prepare to arrive in Washington DC, here are some important notes to make your experience at the meeting as rich and rewarding as possible.

Mobile App

Install our event app (search AALS Events in your app store) and download Annual Meeting 2020. The app is the best scheduling and organizational tool for the conference. Check out our  explainer to get the most out of the app.

Transportation

We’ve pulled together a variety of ways for you to get to the Annual Meeting hotels once you arrive in Washington, DC.

Materials Exchange

You are encouraged to bring materials—free copies of publications, event announcements, flyers, etc.—to the meeting for exchange at the attendee materials table, located outside the exhibit hall.

New Attendee Session

We hope to see any new attendees at the “Session for First Time Meetings Attendees,” from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on Thursday. This session is intended for new law professors, especially those who have never attended an AALS Annual Meeting, but repeat attendees are welcome to come and learn what’s new and how to get the most out of the meeting. Don’t forget to join the reception for new law faculty immediately following the session.

Teachers of the Year, Planning Committee, Section Chairs

Please join us at the Opening Plenary Session at 10:30 am on Friday, where you will be honored by AALS President Vicki C. Jackson.

Visit the Exhibit Hall

In addition to the usual leaders in legal tech and academic publishing, this year don’t miss a variety of demonstrations and special events from our exhibitors and sponsors in the Exhibit Hall.

Registration Hours & Add-on Tickets

Everything you need to know about what to do onsite is available in this  printable onsite guide. Printed copies will also be available inside the Exhibit Hall next to registration.
