Yes, children under 21 accompanied may attend program sessions with a children’s badge. There are additional fees for children to attend meal events. Badges for children are available onsite upon request by a full meeting registrant at the AALS Registration Desk in the Exhibit Hall.
If I am a moderator/presenter and I am attending only the session I am participating in, do I need to pay the registration fee?
Yes, all law faculty and professional staff who moderate and present pay the registration fee.
Each session is assigned a law student monitor who is there to troubleshoot most technical problems and is available to seek hotel assistance for any setup, sound, and heating/cooling issues. If you encounter technical difficulties, first ask your student monitor, and send them for expert assistance if needed.
There is a speaker ready room at the Marriott Wardman Park. The location will be listed in the program. The room will be set with an LCD projector and screen for you to test PowerPoint presentations using your laptop. The speaker ready room will also have a printer.

Planned by the 103 AALS Sections AALS Section Programs – Most programs at the Annual Meeting are planned by the sections. The majority are 95 minutes in length. In Group Registration, you can register on behalf of faculty/staff member(s) from your law school. You can also register multiple people at one time. Both types of registration require your AALS username and password to access.

Yes. The benefit of this registration method is that one member of a law school’s faculty/staff has the ability to perform the registration for other members – even a single other person.

Because it refers to your school’s billing address with AALS, which may not be tied to the credit card you are using for payment. Do not change this address. It will not cause your credit card to be declined.
