The 2026 AALS Annual Meeting will take place at two neighboring hotels in New Orleans:

Hilton New Orleans Riverside
Headquarters hotel for most sessions, registration, exhibits, and guest rooms.

Reservations

The guest room rate per night at both hotels is $197 single or double occupancy + taxes.

  • $20 for each additional adult in the room.
  • Children staying in the same room with their parents(s) are free of charge in existing bedding. There is no charge for a crib. There is a $25 charge for a rollaway bed.

To book a room:

  1. Register for the Annual Meeting.
  2. Your confirmation email will include a link to the hotel booking site managed by Maritz, AALS’s official housing partner. Important: Reservations must be made through Maritz. Do not book directly with the hotels.
  3. Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Maritz within 72 hours.

The deadline to make hotel reservations is Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern.

Changes & Cancellations

You may modify or cancel your hotel reservation via the link in your confirmation email from Maritz until Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern.

From December 22–25, 2025 Maritz will be transferring all reservations to the AALS meeting hotels. During this period, changes and cancellations will be temporarily unavailable.

Starting Friday, December 26, 2025, you may contact your hotel directly to make changes to or cancel your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be canceled by 6:00 PM on your scheduled arrival date without penalty.

Cancellations made after 6:00 PM, or failure to check in on the arrival date, will result in a charge of one night’s room and tax to the credit card used to secure and guarantee the reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a guaranteed deposit required for my hotel reservation? If so, is it refundable?

A valid credit card with an expiration date of January 2026 or later is required to secure and guarantee your hotel reservation. Your card will not be charged prior to arrival.

How can I request an accessibility accommodation for my hotel guest room during the reservation process?

Indicate the accommodations needed in the section titled “Special Accommodations” when making your hotel reservation.

How do I reserve a room if I’m sharing it with a colleague or bringing family members?

Designate one person to make the hotel reservation. Be sure to list all occupants, including children and their ages, when completing the booking.

Children under 18 may stay free of charge in a parent’s room. For rooms with more than two adults (aged 18+), there is an additional charge of $20 per person, per night. Notify the hotel at check-in if any guests in your room are under 18 and exempt from the extra person charge.
