The AALS is excited to return to our first in-person annual meeting in two years in sunny San Diego, California. The 2023 Annual Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 4 through Saturday, January 7, 2023

When will registration open? 

Registration will open late summer of 2022.  AALS will post and send information to all law school faculty and administrators with the registration rates and when the registration portal is ready to open.  

When can I make my hotel reservation? 

Hotel reservations can be made after your meeting registration is completed. A link to the hotel reservation booking site will be included in your meeting registration confirmation. For details on hotels and rates, please learn more at https://am.aals.org/hotels/  

Will there be a virtual option for the Annual Meeting? 

Virtual and hybrid offerings are not available for this year’s meeting. The meeting will take place in person in San Diego.  We look forward to the networking, relationship building, and celebration that comes with bringing the community of law school faculty together in person for the first time in two years.  

Do you offer one-day registration? 

The registration fee will provide access to the entire meeting. One-day registration passes are not available. 

What safety protocols will be in force at AALS 2023? 

We will post a COVID-19 Information and Resources page with details and updates on the safety protocols for the meeting.
