Registration - 2025 Annual Meeting

We are excited to return to the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. Join us from Tuesday, January 7, to Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square and the Parc 55 San Francisco – A Hilton Hotel.

The meeting will take place in person. We look forward to the networking, relationship building, and celebration that comes with bringing the community of law school faculty together.

The registration rate includes: Four days of over 200 in-person sessions organized by Sections, the Annual Meeting Program Committee, and the AALS President; the Opening Plenary session with a keynote speaker; the classic Opening Reception; Exhibit Hall access; and morning and afternoon coffee breaks.

Payment

The AALS online registration system accepts Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX. We do not accept registration via email.

Confirmation

You will receive an email confirming your online registration within a few minutes. If you need to register via paper form, including mailed check payments, you will receive a confirmation email after the check arrives and the registration has been processed.

Spouse/Partner Registration

This rate is only available for guests who are not law school faculty, staff, retired/emeritus, or a law student.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and submitted no later than December 16, 2024. A refund of the full registration fee will be issued to these requests. Cancellations received after this date, as well as no-shows to the Annual Meeting, are not eligible to receive even partial refunds of the registration fee unless there are severe extenuating circumstances such as the death or hospitalization of the registrant or a member of their immediate family or the equivalent. Registration Substitutions

Registration substitutions are welcome. The person currently registered must send a written authorization asking to transfer their registration, and must include the name of the person receiving the registration in their place. Requests may be sent via email to [email protected], fax to (202) 872-1829, or mail to AALS, 1614 20th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009. Requests must arrive at AALS by January 1, 2025.

What is Group Registration?

The “Register multiple people” button at the top of the page will bring you to Group Registration. In Group Registration, you can register:

  • A group of people from your law school, including yourself
  • A group of people from your law school, not including yourself
  • A single person from your law school, other than yourself
  • Yourself—but we’d recommend using Individual Registration instead.

Do you offer a one-day or per-session/event registration rate?

Single-day registration passes are not available. Your registration fee will secure your access to the entire Annual Meeting.
