Hotels

The 2027 AALS Annual Meeting will take place at two neighboring hotels in New York: 

New York Hilton Midtown 
Headquarters hotel for most sessions, registration, exhibits, and guest rooms. 
📍 1335 6th Ave, New York, NY 10019 

Sheraton New York Times Square 
Will host select sessions and guest rooms. 
📍 811 7th Avenue, W 53rd St, New York, NY 10019 

Reservations 

The guest room rate per night at both hotels is $249 single occupancy and $269 double occupancy + taxes. 

  • $20 for each additional adult in the room up to a maximum occupancy of 4 people per room 
  • Children staying in the same room with their parents(s) are free of charge in existing bedding. There is no charge for a crib, which is based on hotel inventory.  
  • New York Hilton Midtown: $25 charge for a rollaway bed  
  • Sheraton New York Times Square: Does not provide rollaway beds 

To book a room: 

  1. Register for the Annual Meeting. 
  1. Your confirmation email will include a link to the hotel booking site managed by Maritz, AALS’s official housing partner. Important: Reservations must be made through Maritz. Do not book directly with the hotels. 
  1. Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Maritz within 72 hours. 

If you experience issues with the booking system, please contact [email protected]. Note: AALS staff do not have access to the Maritz system and cannot assist directly. 

The deadline to make hotel reservations is Tuesday, December 22, 2026, at 1 PM Eastern. 

Changes and Cancellations 

You may modify or cancel your hotel reservation via the link in your confirmation email from Maritz until Tuesday, December 22, 2026, at 1 PM Eastern.  

From December 22–25, 2026 Maritz will be transferring all reservations to the AALS meeting hotels. During this period, changes and cancellations will be temporarily unavailable. 

Starting Saturday, December 26, 2026, you may contact your hotel directly to make changes to or cancel your reservation. 

Cancellation Policy 

Reservations may be canceled by 6 PM on your scheduled arrival date without penalty. 

Cancellations made after 6 PM, or failure to check in on the arrival date, will result in a charge of one night’s room and tax to the credit card used to secure and guarantee the reservation. 

Hotel FAQ 

A valid credit card with an expiration date of January 2027 or later is required to secure and guarantee your hotel reservation. Your card will not be charged prior to arrival. 

Designate one person to make the hotel reservation. Be sure to list all occupants, including children and their ages, when completing the booking. 

Children under 18 may stay free of charge in a parent’s room. For rooms with more than two adults (aged 18+), there is an additional charge of $20 per person, per night. Notify the hotel at check-in if any guests in your room are under 18 and exempt from the extra person charge.
